During Spring Break, we welcome hundreds of guests from all over Texas. Yup, that means there's a crowd. Because we truly value our customers' experiences, we wanted to offer a few Safari tips to make your trek the very best.

Come Early. Come late.
We open at 9 a.m. and close at 6 p.m. Midday crowds are the largest.

Fill the gas tank before arrival.
Wait times to enter range from 30 minutes to 2 hours. You don't want to run out of gas before your Safari begins.

Bring Pre-Safari snack and drinks.
Longer wait times mean hungrier bellies. The Safari Camp Grill—just past the admission booth—offers cool drinks in souvenir cups and tasty snacks and meals. The Safari Sweet Spot is located in Tower Creek. It's your wild adventure half-way mark—where you can enjoy homemade fudge, ice cream, cold drinks, the chance to stretch your legs, and beautiful scenery.

Restrooms are located in the Safari Trading Post gift shop, the Safari Camp Grill restaurant, and the Safari Sweet Spot in Tower Creek.

We love animals, but please leave your family pets at home. It's for their safety, as well as the safety of our wild animals. This includes service animals, too.

Feeding the animals
We are so glad you are here to see our animals, but please do not bring any outside animal feed for them. We will provide your vehicle with one bag of feed for free. You are more than welcome to purchase additional sacks of feed. The individual sack of feed is comparable to a big bowl of cereal.

Make sure your passengers and vehicle meet requirements.
We do not permit any persons to ride in the beds of trucks. Jeeps are not permitted without doors and tops assembled. Vans (or any type of vehicle) are not permitted in the drive thru with hatchbacks open or side doors opened. You may drive through with windows rolled down.
